In today's world where all corporations are pushing for efficiency, owning one domain might be challenging. But I can understand how it can help a team stay focused on a singular vision.
By extension, I'd like to say it's a leader's responsibility to unify different work streams behind a single vision for the team.
Yeah, I had the same thoughts that in today's world its hard.
I have worked in smaller companies where thats not true at all. However, in bigger companies it might be true in the past before the current economic situation.
